I want to say… Sichuan...
我想說就四川我最喜歡就是吃洋芋坨坨
Suo2 dao4 Si4 Cuae1, ngo3 zui4 xi3 huae1 ci2 le1 xiao3 ci2 jiu4 si4 yang2 yu2 tuo1tuo
To talk about Sichuan, my favorite action in Sichuan is eating tater tots.
這個東西據...據我觀察只有四川纔...纔有好像是…
Ze2 go4 dong1 xi1, ju2 ngo3 guae1 ca2, zi3 you3 Si4 Cuae1 cai2 you3, hao3 xiang4 si4
According to my observation, this snack only aparently exist in Sichuan.
其他的地方呢，很少很少

Iʼve rarely seen them anywhere else.
特別是小的時候

As a kid, Iʼd go( to the store) and buy a bag of tater tots
但是那個時候纔三角錢一袋，但是很多很多

But back then it only cost 30 cents for a bag, but you got a lot.

whenever Iʼm free or not, I will go get some tater tots
但是現在已經漲到三塊錢了...你說翻了十倍差不多

but theyʼre over three yuan now. Itʼs like a 10 times increase in the price.
然後，但是味道又沒得以前好咯
ránhòu, dànshì wèidào yòu méi dé yǐqián hǎo lo
But they donʼt even taste as good as they used to.
然後現在物價也漲了很多
ránhòu xiànzài wùjià yě zhǎng le hěn duō
And prices are much higher now.
唉..呃...但是不管咋說，這個在進步嘛
ài ... è ... dànshì bù guǎn zǎ shuō, zhè ge zài jìnbù ma
I guess thatʼs just progress.
社會在進步，物價肯定也會漲
shèhuì zài jìnbù, wùjià kěndìng yě huì zhǎng
As society gets better higher prices are inevitable.
但是我希望洋芋坨坨這個文化還是永遠流传下來。
dànshì wǒ xīwàng yángyù tuótuó zhèi ge wénhuà hái shì yǒngyuǎn liúchuán xià lái
But I hope tater tots always manage to stick around.
